Dermaplaning is an exfoliative treatment that leaves your skin smoother, brighter and without facial hair. Dermaplaning is painless, and is performed using a scalpel to "shave" away the outermost layers of the skin, along with vellus hair ("peach fuzz"). Despite what we have all heard before, hair does not grow back thicker.
